Ever since that first stimulus package rolled out, I’ve been following them pretty closely and sharing a good amount over on Instagram about kind of what’s going on and where we are with everything.
Everything I’ve been reading about the second stimulus has kind of led me to believe that it’s just not going to happen.
We got something passed in the House, but the Senate didn’t pass it, and it’s just kind of been in a standstill.

And then Trump goes on and says, “Yes, there’s going to be one, and yes, it’s going to be very generous.”
And so it’s kind of like I don’t really know what to think here.
Here is the transcript of the video above:
Reporter: I have a lot of viewers in Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, who are still struggling economically, sir. They spent all of that first stimulus check. Are you going to get them a second stimulus check?
President Trump: Yeah, we are. We are. Look, we had this-
Reporter: When? When are you going to get it?
President Trump: We had this going better than anybody’s ever seen before. We had the best job numbers, the best economics, the best economy we’ve ever had. And then we had the virus come in from China and now we’re rebuilding it again. We will be doing another stimulus package. It’ll be very good. It will be very generous.
Reporter: How much? How much? How much? People want to know.
President Trump: You’ll find out about it. You’ll find out.
Reporter: When are you going to do it? When are you going to announce it?
President Trump: I think over the next … I think it’s going to be bipartisan. I think it’s going to be over the next couple of weeks, probably.
So what does this mean?
Now, obviously Trump doesn’t have the ability to make this thing happen all by himself, but if he’s pushing for it, then it’s a better chance of something like this happening.
Now, one of the things to note here is that if you’re expecting a stimulus check, Trump did not specifically say stimulus check.
He said “stimulus package” in which, is, there’s been a lot of other things that have been tossed around like a going back to work bonus and things like that.
So I don’t know that this implies that there will be another check, but based on what he said, I think it’ll be interesting to see what happens the next couple of weeks and to see if something rolls out with all of this.
I know every time I talk about this, there’s tons of controversy, people who don’t want it, who think it’s a waste of money, people who do want it, they really need it because they’re in a tough financial spot.
