When it comes time to gifting those in my life, sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge.
Have you experienced this issue too?

We all have that person in our lives that is hard to buy for.
Or, the teen who only wants a pricey gadget.
Or, that relative that has “everything.”
Plus who wants to know the gift that you give is not wanted, goes unused, is returned or even re-gifted?!
Cash is the ultimate gift to give. It’s universal that can be used by anyone. It’s a gift that is wanted, will be used and won’t be returned. When money is given, it can be spent on exactly what the recipient wants.
How perfect is that?
The few issues I’ve found with gifting cash are the lack of pretty bows, fancy gift wrapping and in general… creativity. A gift is meant to be special, even memorable! I’ve found some fun and clever ways to gift cash. Super creative ideas that is sure to be remembered. Check out these clever ways you can give the gift of money…

That is too much, haha…. love ’em all!
I love the “Box of Chocolate Surprise” and the “Here’s to Your Bright Future” gifts. These are clever and simple enough to do myself. Thanks.
This is fantastic! So creative. Think I’ll order one of these for my broke son. Thanks much.
This is awesome! I sooo doing this for the next wedding I end up going to.
Great ideas! However, on the Money Mason Jar, I would put the bills in something to keep the M&Ms from having direct contact with the bills since paper money is one of the dirtiest things around. Other than that, thanks for the ideas!
One year for Christmas I gave my teenage nieces and nephews cash (wrapped in plastic) inside a can of play dough with a tag that said “Here’s a little dough for you to play with. They loved it!
Fabulous ideas! Why didn’t I already think of them??? Way Cool – I have two birthdays coming up in August and this may be the perfect plan! Thanks!
We aren’t loaded with cash and are short on time, but when my parents -in-law were struggling financially because of medical bills, house repairs, etc., we would put money(usually in $100 bills) in an envelope with a window with Ben Franklin looking out, and sneak it into their refrigerator with Ben looking at them. I would add a poem on the envelope ( I hated poetry in school), such as, “Roses are red, Violets are blue, You’ve warmed our hearts, This will warm your home… fix your back door…fix your bathroom faucet.” We found practical ways to help them in their senior years, with just an envelope with a window.
I have bought a salad bowl, and crumpled bills into it like lettuce… A big hit for newly weds!
I have used paper bills, different denominations, taped together to make wrapping paper, wrapped an empty box with this note, this box may look empty, but it is really full, full of my love for you!!! Your gift is the wrapping paper!
Very neat and clever ideas. Glad I found them. Will probably use some of them for Christmas this year. I have been buying small gifts and hiding the money in the gift. This will be somewhat different. Thank you for this “ gift”!
I have given money gifts as oragami items and tear out money pads. My favorite was taping the money end to end, rolling it up, wrapping it with white paper, and writing on the outside: In case you get “crap” for Chritmas.
