My Morning Checklist

written by Bob Lotich, CEPF® | Productivity

My morning routine is something that I have been developing over the last couple years and is influenced by countless books, articles, friends, and more. My goal with it is to create as many good habits that will set me up for success in areas of my life as possible. I know from experience that if I don’t create a daily habit out of something (reading the Word, exercising, etc) my frequency of doing it goes WAY down. I suspect it is like this for most others too, but it definitely is for me. “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.” ”• John C. Maxwell

I’ve had a few readers ask about my morning routine and I thought now would be as good a time as any to share my routine and checklist that I follow each morning. My morning routine is something that I have been developing over the last couple years and is influenced by countless books, articles, […]

7 Ways to Control Your Spending

Ways to Control Your Spending

Spending must be a conscious activity What do I mean by that? Have you ever said the following at the end of the week or month: “Where on earth did my money go?”  I know that I’ve said that! The idea behind conscious spending is to break the habit of spending whenever you ‘feel’ like […]

Pin this Christmas Star to your Craft Board

One of my goals this Christmas is to have a handmade Christmas! Have you ever had a handmade Christmas?  Do you make something handmade every Christmas? written by Bob Lotich, CEPF® | Saving Money

If you would like a little peek into my world, here are 34 things that you probably didn't know about me.

Well, I had a buddy put up a post like this and I liked it so much I thought I needed to do it as well. If you have been a long-time reader you may know some of these things, but surely not all. I am 34 years old and these are 34 random things […]

Why I Think You Should Set A Goal Today

written by Bob Lotich, CEPF® | Biblical Personal Finance, Career & Work, Debt Help

He said rather bluntly, "So, what do you want?". I had thought about a lot of things I didn't want in life. A low-paying job, a job I hated, a dead-end career path were all at the top of my list, but I hadn't really spent much time thinking about things I wanted. He made me. Once I was able to decide on specific things that I wanted in life (particularly in the next 5 years), he had me write them down. This list is what became my 5-year goals

Have you ever wondered how setting a goal and following God’s will can co-exist? After all, what is the point setting a goal that isn’t what God is wanting for us?

22 ways I use Evernote to get control of my money and grow in my faith

Note from Bob: Today’s post comes from my friend and Evernote wiz – Andy Traub. It’s overwhelming trying to keep track of the massive amounts of information you are forced to deal with every day. You get email, paper receipts, bank statements and make on-line purchases. You take notes at work or in church but […]

christianpf-is-now-seedtime

So why are we rebranding ChristianPF as SeedTime? There are really a lot of factors in this decision, but I will try to give you the gist of it. The short story is that I started ChristianPF in 2007 as my little blog to share my ideas about managing money and I had high hopes […]
